FG accuses PDP of sponsoring herdsmen, Boko Haram for massive killings

The Federal Government has alleged that massive attack on the citizenry was been planned and sponsored by the opposition before and during the forthcoming general elections.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed made the claim in press conference in Abuja on Monday.

According to him, herdsmen and Boko Haram terrorists have been hired by politicians to carry out the attacks in Benue, Nasarawa, Taraba and Adamawa states.

Mohammed however stated that the federal Government was up to the task and has put measures in place to make sure that elections are held everywhere.

According to him, “The federal government is in possession of credible intelligence of widespread violence being orchestrated by the opposition in a view to truncate the general elections.

“They are sponsoring massive killing to take place before, during and after the election.

“Nigerians should be vigilant, if you see something; say something.

“Being aware of this plot has made it possible for us to alert the public and the actions we’ll take is not what we will discuss here.”
