Forest Hill stabbing: Schoolboy ‘knifed four times after attackers ran out of car’

A boy stabbed on his way home from school was knifed in the chest after two suspects jumped out of a car and attacked him.

The 15-year-old victim was stabbed up to four times after he was set upon in Forest Hill, south east London.

The boy was critically wounded but police have now confirmed he is no longer in a life-threatening condition.

A boy, also 15, has been arrested in Lewisham on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody.

Emergency services rushed the victim to a south London hospital shortly after 4pm yesterday.

The shocking incident took place on a busy road, close to a primary school, library and leisure centre.

Police are appealing for information following the stabbing.
