Liverpool fans reacts to Jose Mourinho’s last visit to Anfield as Man United boss

Man United and Jose Mourinho have parted ways after the Red Devils suffered disappointing result in the EPL.

The 55-year-old regardless of his side’s outcome at Anfield last weekend, he was sighted exchanging pleasantries with Klopp and some of his men United are 19 points behind Liverpool on t he log after 17 round of matches

Jose Mourinho lost his Manchester United job following his side’s disappointing 3-1 defeat to Liverpool in Sunday’s Premier League clash at Anfield. The result left the Red Devils 19 points behind their arch rivals and current table toppers on the EPL table after 17 matches.

Having being sacked twice earlier after losing to Jurgen Klopp, many fans at Anfield were expecting to see the Portuguese tactician very hostile.

But, that was not the case as the former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss was sighted chit-chatting with the German tactician along side Virgil va Dijk and Mohamed Salah in the tunnel. Give Me Sport reported that Klopp recorded his first English topflight victory with a 3-1 over struggling Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in October 2015.

Before then, Klopp’s Borussia Dortmund smashed Mourinho’s Real Madrid 4-1 at the Westfalenstadion in the Champions League semi-final, leaving the Spaniards trophyless in 2013.And the defeat led to Mourinho sacked the following month, So, you’d probably expect Mourinho is sick of the sight of Klopp right now.

‘Inside Anfield’ has shown footage inside the tunnel before, during and after the match and Liverpool fans noticed Mourinho’s behaviour. The sight of the two managers chatting surprised many Kopites as the 55-year-old greeted Klopp with a big handshake and hug However, the comments section on the YouTube video was full of fans paying their respect to Mourinho and insisting that he’s actually a really nice man.

Liverpool fans paying tribute to Mourinho and insisting he’s a good guy – who’d have thought it!? After the match, the United boss – who had just managed his final game for Man Utd – actually praised Liverpool after the 3-1 loss.

“They (Liverpool) are fast, intense, aggressive, physical, and they play at 100mph with and without the ball,” he said, per the Liverpool Echo. “I am still tired just to look at Robertson. He makes I think 100 meter sprints per minute. Absolutely incredible and these are qualities.” The Red Devils are not okay with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford this season in the Premier League after poor results and also the row between him and Paul Pogba. According to the report by UK Sun, Frenchman Zinedine Zidane has set his sights on the Old Trafford job after rejecting numerous jobs that came his way since leaving Re al Madrid.
