Harry Potter, The Band’s Visit Win Big At 2018 Tony Awards (See Full List)

It was a triumphant night for ‘The Band’s Visit’, a musical about an Egyptian music group visiting an Israeli desert town, as it was the highest winner at this year’s Tony Awards, going home with 10 awards.
Last night, ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts One and Two’ won the most coveted best play award and five other categories at the Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The West End transfer collected 6 gongs, including best play and best direction, at the New York ceremony.
Veteran actress Glenda Jackson won best actress in a play for her performance in Three Tall Women.
British-American star Andrew Garfield won best actor in a play for his turn in a revival of Angels in America.
