A rapper is believed to have been involved in a crash between a £250,000 Ferrari and a London bus.

Swarmz, who has a million Instagram followers, posted videos of the crumpled red 488 GTB on the social media platform after the incident on Northumberland Avenue near central London’s Trafalgar Square on Sunday.

The Italian sports car, which can reach 205mph, was a write-off after the crash involving a double decker bus, which sustained damage to much of one side, in the 20mph zone.

It is not clear whether Swarmz was just at the scene, was driving the car or if it belonged to him, but he earlier put up a video of him and some friends looking at it.

Nobody was injured in the crash.

In an Instagram story showing the crashed Ferrari, Swarmz said: “F***ing hell man, never crashed a f***ing Ferrari bruv.”

Another eyewitness tweeted: “The remains of a Ferrari on Northumberland Avenue. Damaged bus in the background.
“All three emergency services in attendance along with Westminster’s cleaning team tidying up the mess.”

The passer-by, who did not see the crash, said the City of Westminster’s cleaning crews were “cleaning the road, removing debris, sprinkling sand”.

“No sign of any injured people or driver. The road was still closed but footpath open,” he added.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called at approximately 1.50pm on Sunday May 24 to reports of a damage-only collision on Northumberland Avenue, Westminster.

“No reports of injuries and no arrests.”
